Tristan Hoogland is a producer, mixer and engineer based at Fall Back Studios in Melbourne, Australia.

Beginning nine years ago with a BMus in Production at the Queensland University of Technology, Hoogland soon completed the degree in 2009 and immediately busied himself by recording and producing artists at Brisbane’s Psi-Fi Studios. In 2011 he became the head staff engineer for one of Australia’s finest and state of the art studios, Gasworks. After a long stint and with many artists under his belt, Hoogland went independent in 2013 continuing his production endeavours in his fully owned and operated facility, Hunting Ground Studios. In 2015, Hoogland relocated to Melbourne where he begun and continues to work out of Australia’s premier recording studio, Sing Sing.

Since he first began at Psi-Fi, Hoogland has already yielded an impressive list of clients such as Golden Vessel, Woodes, Fountaineer, OKBadlands, Huntly, Emerson Leif, Abraham Tilbury, Mid Ayr, Paul Dempsey, Ball Park Music, Cub Sport, Oh Ye Denver Birds, Malo Zima, and many others. He has also worked under several critically acclaimed and award winning producers such as Paul McKercher (AUS), Steven Schram (AUS), Mick Glossop (UK), Jason Derulo (US), Simon Polinski (AUS) and many others.
