Jess Beston is Founder/Director of boutique music business “Tiny Monster”, specialising in Artist Management, and Artist Development/Radio Strategy for independent emerging artists within whom she sees big potential. She currently manages Holy Holy, works with Alex The Astronaut, Jeffe and Heaps Good Friends on the Artist Development/Radio side, and is part time Project Manager at One Louder working on album releases from Neil Finn and Paul Kelly.

HOLY HOLY released their sophomore record “PAINT” in February last year to a swathe of 4 and 5 star reviews, achieving a #7 Aria Chart debut, and Rolling Stone, The Australian & The Western Australian naming them one of the country’s best bands. They have had many songs in the top 5 most played at triple j, with their stunning single “True Lovers” hitting #40 in the Hottest 100 this year. They have played sold out headline tours across Australia, festivals such as Splendour, Falls, Beyond the Valley, and have toured three times through the UK, The Netherlands, Germany and Spain, selling out 3 London shows and playing festivals such as Primavera, London Calling, Dot To Dot, The Great Escape, Liverpool Music Week and Reeperbahn.

Previously she worked at Universal Music Australia as A&R Manager for 4 years signing Children Collide, Gyroscope, Dukes Of Windsor, working with The Naked & Famous & Violent Soho for their first LPs, and prior to that at EMI for 6 years in PR/radio and licensing. Gyroscope achieved a #3 Aria debut, and Children Collide a #5 Aria debut, each had several songs in triple j’s Hottest 100 top 40, with the latter earning an ARIA nom for their second record “Theory Of Everything”.

Jess has had a long love affair with music. She started with classical training studying classical music at school & University, attaining a BA majoring in Music at Sydney University, and was training with the Australian Opera when she discovered Radiohead, At The Drive In, Smashing Pumpkins and guitars, moved to London in 1998, got a job at HMV and her entire life changed. She was then in bands in London and Sydney for 8 years, self-managing, recording and self-releasing 4 EPs. She also during that time started working at EMI in 2001, working for 3 years in Licensing, and 3 years in PR/ where she worked on campaigns for Silverchair, Missy Higgins, The Finn Brothers, Coldplay, Radiohead etc.
