In the past decade, Antonia Gauci established herself as one of Australia’s most trusted, best-regarded engineers and versatile mixers. This is seen through working across the sonic spectrum with numerous local and international artists. Her credits include: Will.I.Am, Lil Yachty, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, most notably Kesha’s Grammy nominated single Praying, as well as some of Australia’s finest; DMA’s, Alison Wonderland, Vallis Alps, Kučka, Mansionair, MOVEMENT, What So Not, BUOY, Body Type and Anatole - to name a few.

She cut her teeth at Sydney’s legendary BigJesusBurger Studios and Studios 301, assisting for heavyweights such as Scott Horscroft (The Presets, Birds of Tokyo), Eric J Dubowsky (Chet Faker, Flume, Odesza) and engineering for Kevin Shirley & Cold Chisel. At the same time, she began recording the cream of Sydney’s emerging artists. Quickly, Antonia Gauci gained a reputation for her unique perspective, efficiency and welcoming, ego free nature.

In 2015, Antonia became one of 301’s in-house engineering staff.

In 2017, she successfully broke out into the freelance world! Gauci acquired her own production room at Golden Retriever Studios while Studios 301 engaged in their relocation & rebuild.

Also worthy of a mention are her works as a songwriter and performer in Italo-disco trio GAUCI and her brooding solo project Leftenent. Both winning praise from Australian press and radio. GAUCI had one of the most requested songs of 2017 on FBi Radio, and Leftenent was labelled as one to watch in both 2016 & 17.

Antonia is collaborative by nature, endlessly enthusiastic about new music, and equally comfortable working in top-flight studios or on location.
