Georgia Mooney’s Supergroup (Sydney, NSW)
March 31 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm UTC+10$42.00
Over four delightful Sundays, Georgia Mooney (All Our Exes Live in Texas) brings together some of Australia’s best songwriters for an intimate night of new songs, reinvented favourites and spontaneous collaboration.
Seated in a semi-circle, surrounded by lamps, rugs and moody studio-esque vibe, four unique artists go round the group in a game of musical pass the parcel – each sharing a song while the others become the backing band in the live collaboration you didn’t realise you were dreaming of. It’s their first writing session, their first rehearsal and their first gig all at once.
Expect melty magic, potential bangers, absolute clangers and rambunctious chitter-chatter.

The HOST: Georgia Mooney is one of Australia’s foremost singer-songwriters. As one quarter of indie-folk band, All Our Exes Live in Texas, she has circumnavigated Australia and the globe multiple times over, collecting an impressive array of awards along the way – including an ARIA and AIR Award for their debut, ‘When We Fall’. Not a group confined by genre, All Our Exes Live in Texas have shared the stage and/or studio with The Backstreet Boys, Midnight Oil, Kesha, Passenger, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Megan Washington, Kate Miller-Heidke, Neil Finn, Boy & Bear, Marlon Williams, Urthboy, Tiny Ruins, St Paul & The Broken Bones and many more. In her own right, Georgia has a reputation as a remarkable solo performer and a sort after session vocalist, recording for television, film and taking part in many musical collaborations. Georgia’s new baby, ‘Supergroup’ (a very millennial name for a child), springs from her love of story-telling songwriters, their ability to have a yarn and the fact they rarely get to do it all together.
Joining Georgia on MARCH 31st:
R.W. Grace possesses the ability to convey both great power and gentle fragility on stage. She’s a truly mesmerising performer who pours herself into every show as if it’s her last. Which means, given the deeply personal subject matter of songs, every performance packs a hefty emotional punch. Whether performing solo, or with band, an R.W. Grace show is never anything short of transcendent.
Fanny Lumsden: With a recent string of accolades including two ARIA nominations, two Golden Guitar awards and the AIR Best Independent Album of 2018 for her second record ‘Real Class Act’ (which debuted at #1 on the Country ARIA charts), western NSW born and raised Fanny Lumsden is taking the music industry by storm one small town at a time. Fiercely independent, releasing on her own record label Red Dirt Road Records and running her own touring company The Country Halls Tour, Fanny is taking her own brand of alt country to the masses. ‘On her own terms and in her own lane, Fanny Lumsden is the Queen of New Australiana’.
Stu Larsen: With no home, no job and few possessions, Stu Larsen is living the life of a vagabond, spending his days on the road across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, North America and Europe. Currently working on his third full-length album while on the road in South America and Mexico with Passenger, Larsen will return to Australia for this one off show and to pay a long overdue visit to his mother.
