Thinking Loud is looking for a PR/Events Intern to assist in the agency’s communications and events projects across our full suite of music and brand clients. As an agency we have been lucky enough to work with some of Australia’s leading artists over the last 12 months, with local and international releases from the likes of Flight Facilities, REMI, Sampa The Great, NLV Records, Winston Surfshirt, Snakehips, Stormzy, Motez, Cosmo’s Midnight and more.
Thinking Loud also connects the worlds of music and brands, delivering projects for the likes of Red Bull Music Academy, Red Bull Sound Select, Wrangler, Sugar Mountain, Boiler Room, Bacardi, Potato Head Beach Club and more. We are now recruiting for a passionate individual who is looking for a quality internship to gain in-depth PR/Events experience within the music industry.

The PR/Events intern must have, or be studying, relevant tertiary qualifications (marketing / events / communications) with a strong passion for music and culture. Experience in public relations, events coordination/production, admin and copywriting isn’t necessary, but definitely a plus.
- Assist in reporting, monitoring, media list management, developing influencer lists and event coordination
- Write and proof materials ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles
- Assist in FOH activities, production and coordination related to events and branded projects
- Demonstrate behaviours consistent with Thinking Loud’s values as a business and not be afraid to get your hands dirty
This unpaid internship position will require a minimum 2-month commitment, for 2 days a week (negotiable). The intern will ideally have their own laptop with Microsoft Office Suite that they can bring into the office. Out of pocket expenses will be covered on a case-by-case basis (not including travel to/from office, lunch, etc).
